Which to use
If you like going month by month and want extras like a photo map, an AI photo enhancer, or Supercut videos, Swipewipe has them. If you’d rather a left swipe set photos aside instead of marking them to delete, want screenshots and documents out of view, and want to compress videos or lock private photos in the same app, try PicWay.
When Swipewipe fits
Swipewipe is built around cleaning up one month at a time. Its site also lists an On This Day view, duplicate grouping, an AI photo enhancer, and Supercut videos made from a month of photos.
When PicWay fits
- You want a left swipe to set a photo aside, not mark it for deletion, so you can change your mind later.
- You want screenshots, screen recordings, and document-like images out of view. The Life view hides them without deleting them.
- You want to compress videos at Standard or Strong in the same app.
- You want a Private Vault that encrypts photos on your iPhone and won’t open while your screen is being recorded.
- You want reviewing and organizing done on your device, with no account to sign up for.
